Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott in Box Elder, SD, is hiring a Front Desk Associate to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and provide exceptional service. You will handle reservations, answer inquiries, and coordinate transportation while maintaining security and guest privacy.

You will balance daily charges and reports, keeping the lobby area organized and professional. Ideal candidates are 18+ with strong computer skills, basic accounting knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computer systems and hotel property management software.
• Excellent communication and listening skills with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Make and manage room reservations and check guests in/out.
• Provide information on hotel services and local attractions to guests.
• Protect guest confidentiality and safety in all front desk communications.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements as needed for guests.
• Generate and balance daily reports and guest billing.
• Maintain front desk and lobby area cleanliness and organization.
• Adhere to uniform and nametag standards at all times.
• Other duties to support hotel operations as assigned.
