Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Box Elder in Box Elder, SD is seeking a part-time Front Desk Associate through LIV Hospitality. You will handle check-ins/outs, guest inquiries, and daily front desk operations with attention to accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel property management system(s).
• Ability to quickly learn front desk procedures: check-in, check-out, selling, computer and telephone operations.
• Strong communication and listening skills with the public, employees and management.
• Basic knowledge of accounting operations.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Make room reservations and check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Issue room keys, brochures, and discount cards as needed.
• Provide information to guests about hotel services and other activities.
• Ensure confidentiality, security, and safety of guests.
• Arrange transportation for guests as needed.
• Compute bills, post charges, and handle payments.
• Run various reports and maintain front desk and lobby area.
• Wear uniform and nametag; balance daily hotel reports.
