Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Box Elder in Box Elder, SD is hiring a front desk associate to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and provide concierge-style information for local entertainment and services. You will handle keys, discounts, and pamphlets while maintaining security and room readiness; strong communication and cash handling are essential.

Qualifications

Strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel property management system(s).
Excellent communication and listening skills for guest interactions.
Basic knowledge of accounting operations and cash handling.
Candidates must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Responsible for making room reservations and checking guests in and out of the hotel.
Issues room keys, pamphlets, discount cards, etc., as needed.
Provides information to guests regarding hotel services and local entertainment.
Ensures confidentiality, security and safety of guests in front desk communications.
Arranges transportation for guests and assists with inquiries.
Balance daily reports and post charges in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness of the front desk and lobby area and wear a uniform.
