Vancrest Health Care Centers seeks a proactive Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing environment in Ohio. The RN will implement care plans, administer treatments, and participate in assessments while supervising nursing assistants as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an active nursing license and demonstrates ability to lead, communicate effectively with the care team, and document clinical information accurately to support resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license required.
• Experience creating and updating resident care plans.
• Ability to supervise and guide nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Implement resident care plans.
• Administer treatments and assist in assessments.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegate care plan components to CNAs with supervision.
• Consult and validate data; record information in patient records.
• Monitor resident responses to health problems and treatments.
• Communicate care needs to the care team; participate in professional development.

Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Responsibilities include

• Implementing a resident care plan
• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary
• consulting with and validating data
• record pertinent information in the patient record
• identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments
• communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care
• assuming responsibility for professional growth and development
• other duties as assigned by the director of nursing.
• Working leader- oversees and implements a resident plan of care
• Working leader- performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessment and evaluations
