Job summary

Vancrest Health Care Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in our facility. The role includes implementing the resident care plan, performing treatments, and aiding in assessments and evaluations, while supervising nursing assistants as needed.

The RN will ensure accurate documentation, monitor residents’ responses to treatments, and communicate care needs across the care team, contributing to overall resident satisfaction and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Implementing a resident care plan.
• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations.
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegating components of the care plan to nursing assistants and providing supervision.
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record.
• Identifying and evaluating residents’ responses to health problems and treatments.
• Communicating residents’ care needs to others involved in the care.
