Job summary

Vancrest Health Care Centers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time, on-site care of residents. 2nd shift 2pm-10pm and 3rd shift 6pm-6am are available. You will implement care plans, administer treatments, assist with assessments, and support nursing assistants under supervision.

• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary
• Consulting with and validating data
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record
• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments
• Communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care
• Assuming responsibility for professional growth and development
