Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens for newborns in hospital settings. You will receive on-the-job training and annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology to support early detection and intervention.

Responsibilities include assessing screen readiness, administering screens, documenting results, educating parents, and coordinating follow-up appointments as needed. Weekend work availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and procedures, PPE, vaccinations and safety protocols.
• Evaluate patient screen readiness before screening to ensure reliable results.
• Collect data and demographics for each baby; perform hearing screen and related services during each shift.
• Provide care and education to families about the importance of screening.
• Upload screen results and billing data by end of shift; ensure completeness.
