Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR certification or eligible to obtain after offer.

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing loss in hospital settings.
• Provide education to parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Comply with policies, PPE, vaccinations, and hospital orientations.
• Document demographics, screening results, and billing/state reporting accurately.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
• Notify supervisor of missed or refer babies and ensure follow-ups.
