Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens for newborns in hospital settings. You will receive on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology accredited certification, helping improve early detection and intervention for hearing loss.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, CPR certification (or ability to obtain), and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon offer.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and provide parent education.
• Ensure data collection and documentation per protocol.
• Schedule outpatient follow-up for referred babies.
• Upload results and complete state reporting by end of shift.
• Comply with PPE, vaccinations and hospital policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and high-quality care.
