Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens in hospital settings and educate parents about the importance of early intervention.

You will receive on-the-job training and annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology. The role focuses on efficient, accurate screens, data collection, and timely reporting, with readiness for weekend and holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens for newborns in hospital settings.
• Provide education to parents about the importance of newborn hearing screens and early intervention.
• Collect all necessary baby data/demographics and ensure accurate screen documentation.
• Upload screen results and billing information by the end of each shift, reconciling stats as needed.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when appropriate.
