Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in the hospital after birth.
• Evaluate screen readiness and ensure reliable results.
• Collect data/demographics and document screen results per protocol.
• Educate parents about the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Upload screen results and reconcile statistics at shift end.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred babies and schedule follow-ups.
• Adhere to PPE, vaccines, and hospital safety procedures.
