Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings. You will work on-site at hospital locations, screen newborns, and educate parents on the importance of early intervention and follow-up.

On-the-job training, including annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology, is provided. You will handle data collection, documentation, and communication with hospital staff, scheduling, and adherence to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsabilités

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Evaluate baby readiness and ensure reliable results.
• Collect demographics and document screen data accurately.
• Educate parents on screening importance and results.
• Upload screen results and state reporting by end of shift.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
