Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to conduct newborn hearing screens at hospital locations. You will screen babies, educate families, and ensure timely documentation and reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compassionate family interaction, and adherence to safety and hospital policies. On-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology accreditation support available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens for eligible babies during each shift.
• Collect data and demographics for each baby and ensure accurate documentation.
• Educate parents about the screening process and results.
• Upload screen results and state reporting by end of shift and reconcile statistics.
• Notify Site Supervisor of missed screenings and refer babies as needed.
