Pediatrix is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens for newborns after birth. You will work on-site at one or more hospital locations and receive on-the-job training, including annual American Academy of Audiology certification.

Responsibilities include educating parents, ensuring screening readiness, accurate data collection, and timely reporting. The role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens and provide education to parents.
• Evaluate patient readiness for screening.
• Collect data and demographics; ensure accurate documentation.
• Upload results and complete state reporting by end of shift.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
