Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor to cover our communities in the Colorado Springs area. You will drive new home sales by leveraging Realtor relationships and engaging new home buyers, delivering exceptional service from first contact through closing.

In this role you will manage buyer expectations, coordinate with a lender, design studio, and title company, and maintain accurate CRM records to follow up with leads.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong preference for 1 year in new home sales with a proven track record.
• Good computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Accomplish sales and customer service goals and other objectives set by the Sales Leader.
• Maintain Realtor relationships and cultivate new partnerships for ongoing business.
• Connect unrepresented homebuyers to Realtors and support them through the process.
• Ensure the look and presentation of communities are pristine for guest tours.
• Develop and refine personal sales presentations to maximize conversions.
• Utilize CRM to manage discovery and follow-up with potential customers.
• Show models, home sites, and offerings; schedule showings via available technology.
• Present community information, pricing, and purchase agreements professionally.
• Solicit both new and referral business using Salesforce.com and other tools.
• Coordinate with lenders, title, and design studio to expedite close.
