Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor to drive new home sales in the Sacramento area. You will leverage Realtor relationships and buyer leads, demonstrate homes, and close sales with a focus on exceptional customer service.

The role requires active CA Real Estate license, 3+ years in outside sales, and strong communication skills. Expect collaboration with lenders, designers, and title companies, with travel to multiple communities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years outside sales experience; real estate license may be required.
• Active & valid CA Real Estate License required; strong computer skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish sales and customer service goals.
• Maintain and cultivate Realtor relationships for long-term partnerships.
• Connect buyers with Realtors and guide them through homebuying process.
• Manage community look and provide quality guest experience during tours.
• Present and explain Meritage Homes purchase agreements, taxes, and HOA rules.
• Solicit new and referral business using CRM and Salesforce.com.
