Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor to drive new home sales in the Palm Desert area. You will leverage Realtor partnerships and buyers, manage CRM for leads, and coordinate with design, mortgage, and closing teams to deliver a seamless experience.

You will build strong relationships with agents and buyers, present purchase options, and guide customers from inquiry to closing while ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or educational equivalent required, some college coursework or Bachelor’s Degree, strongly preferred
• 3+ years of previous experience in outside sales
• A valid and active CA real estate license is required
• Good computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel

Responsibilities

• Accomplish sales and customer service goals, and other objectives as determined by your Sales Leader.
• Maintain Realtor relationships and connect unrepresented homebuyers to Realtors throughout the homebuying process.
• Actively manage and partner to ensure look and feel of communities is pristine for guest experience.
• Practice and improve personal sales presentation to convert leads; use consultative selling techniques.
• Utilize CRM to manage discovery and follow-up strategies for all potential customers.
• Engage visitors, demonstrate models, and schedule showings via available technology.
• Present community information, floor plans, pricing, and payment details; drive sales.
• Coordinate with lenders, title, mortgage, operations, and design studio as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of local markets, real estate laws, and industry trends.
