Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting seeks a New Home Design-Sales Representative for New Bern, NC. The role targets candidates with strong construction sales experience and a solid business development background to drive new home sales and growth in a thriving market.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of sales in construction settings, a relevant degree, and the ability to guide buyers through financing and the building process. Real estate license not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inside-outside sales experience, preferably in new construction homes.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Exposure to construction field-operations (e.g., Superintendent, Field Engineer, Construction Manager) is desirable.
• Knowledge of prospecting, sales, and closing techniques.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Real estate license not required.
• Respond to lead calls and meet potential customers.
• Coordinate with construction team to meet customized plans.
• Review plans with customer and assist banks to close loans.
• Aim to meet annual home sale targets.

Responsibilities

• Overcome objections to the sale using objection handling processes.
• Create appropriate urgency to buy.
• Register 100% prospects with complete and accurate demographic information and follow up as often as possible.
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by setting proper expectations at time of purchase agreement.
• Guide buyers through mortgage, lot purchase, and construction process to a successful closing.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training and support for others on the sales team.
• Utilize effective sales processes to build rapport and discover buyer needs and timing.
• Differentiate our homes by presenting the building process and focusing on buyer needs.
• Qualify buyers financially and understand finance programs (conventional, FHA, VA).
