Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix is seeking a New Nurse Experience (NNE) RN for a full-time residency. This program supports new graduates transitioning to a licensed, professional nurse through a collaborative learning environment with mentorship and hands-on training.

Successful candidates are recent graduates (BSN preferred), with a current BLS certificate, and no more than 12 months of RN experience. The role is on the Night shift in a 24-bed PCU, with multiple career pathways and a 12-month unit

Qualifications

• Recent or Upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BSN is preferred - open to ADN at select locations
• Current BLS card (through either American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain certification before a start date
• No More than 12 months of RN experience
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for patients in PCU 3A-Hosp.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the care team.
• Document care and communicate with physicians and family.
• Participate in unit mentoring and training activities.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and patient safety.
