Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, AZ, invites newly graduated registered nurses to join the New Nurse Experience (NNE) residency. This full-time program guides you from graduate to competent, professional nurse through mentorship, simulated practice, and hands-on patient care.

You will be clinically mentored in selected units, with multiple career pathways and development opportunities to support your long-term goals in nursing.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; open to ADN at select locations.
• Current BLS certification through AHA/Red Cross/ASHI or able to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months RN experience.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Nurse in a full-time New Nurse Experience (NNE) on a Banner Health unit.
• Mentored by unit staff and educators in a collaborative learning environment.
• Refine nursing skills, knowledge, and professional relationships during the program.
• Stay on the NNE unit for at least 12 months to complete training.
