Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS card (American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain certification before a start date.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients in accordance with professional nursing standards.
• Collaborate with unit staff and educators in a learning environment to support transition from new graduate to competent nurse.
• Mentor and precept new graduate nurses and participate in competency assessments and orientation activities.
