Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ is recruiting for the New Nurse Experience (NNE) RN Residency program. This full-time role supports new graduates transitioning to professional nursing through mentorship, unit-based training, and structured development pathways.

Successful candidates will be placed on Banner Health facilities, receive preceptored clinical experiences, and engage in ongoing learning to build competency within 12 months on their assigned unit.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BSN is preferred – open to ADN at select locations
• Current BLS certification (through AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain
• No more than 12 months of RN experience
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care following professional nursing standards
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to provide patient‑centered care
• Mentor and collaborate with preceptors and unit staff
• Participate in competency assessments and training modules
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Cerner EMR and care plans
