Job summary

Banner Health invites new graduates to join the New Nurse Experience (NNE) Residency Program in Mesa, Arizona. This full-time Registered Nurse position provides a structured, mentored transition from new graduate to professional nurse with unit-based clinical mentoring and a variety of development opportunities.

New grads gain hands-on experience on a CVPCU/selected units, with a 12-month focus on comprehensive training, coursework, and precepted practice, including Cerner EMR orientation and

Qualifications

• Current or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS card (through AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and educational needs.
• Formulate a plan of care and discharge plan.
• Implement the plan of care with coordination of the health care team.
• Evaluate patient response to care and adjust as needed.
• Document care in the patient record and communicate with the team.
