Job summary

Banner Health's New Nurse Experience (NNE) RN Residency Program is a full-time, benefitted position designed to transition new graduates to competent professional nurses. Successful candidates are placed in units for clinical mentored experiences, with multiple career pathways and development opportunities.

New grads should live within a reasonable commuting distance and expect three 12-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Recent or Upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN is preferred - open to ADN at select locations.
• Current BLS card (through either American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain certification before a start date.
• No More than 12 months of RN experience
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans with the team.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with caregivers.
• Document nursing assessments and interventions.
• Participate in precepting and mentoring when appropriate.
