Job summary

Banner Health's New Nurse Experience (NNE) in Glendale, AZ invites recent nursing graduates to join a full-time RN residency. You will be clinically mentored on a dedicated unit, refine nursing skills, and transition to a fully competent professional with access to a broad career path.

The program includes simulation, competency assessments, Cerner EMR orientation, and patient care labs; new grads stay at least 12 months; weekend/holiday shifts; must live within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred – ADN acceptable at select locations.
• Current BLS card or ability to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and document nursing care per policy.
• Develop discharge plans and coordinate with the care team.
• Communicate with physicians and care team regularly.
• Provide patient education and support across ages.
• Document care in patient records in a timely manner.
