What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outreach methods such as calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage sales pipeline by maintaining accurate records in the CRM system and tracking progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and stay informed on industry trends

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and team members

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership ability and qualities in previous roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
