What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through proactive outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding customer needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Establish and maintain relationships with educators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage and track sales activities in the CRM system to meet monthly and quarterly goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership abilities and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
