What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads by understanding prospects' needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Book Fairs
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track sales progress
- Collaborate with sales team to improve lead generation and align outreach strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers, superiors, and customers
