What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through proactive outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding prospects' needs and set appointments for the sales team
- Build strong relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and share insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Sales Automation and Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships across various levels

- Demonstrated leadership abilities and qualities in previous roles
