What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners to expand the Book Fair business
- Qualify leads by understanding prospects' needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Establish rapport with educators and emphasize the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for relationship building with peers and customers
