Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team. You will educate healthcare providers on Ipsen’s neuroscience products, manage a territory, and drive market access while maintaining compliance with all laws and company policies.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in pharmaceutical sales, experience with neuroscience or migraine therapies, and a proven ability to build relationships with HCPs. A BS/BA degree is required and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• Experience in neuroscience area strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Academic background in healthcare is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Attain designated calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing data sets across approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex hospital and healthcare organization structures.
• Manage the territory with effective prioritization, reporting, and sample accountability; develop and execute business plans.
• Complete administrative requirements including budgets, logins, sample accounting, and expense reports within guidelines.
• Comply with PhRMA Code and Ipsen policies and all applicable laws.
