Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join our nationwide sales team. You will communicate product information to healthcare providers and pharmacists, support product availability in the assigned territory, and develop plans to meet sales goals while complying with drug laws and Ipsen policies.

The ideal candidate has a B.S./B.A. and 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with strong neuroscience and migraine promotion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• Experience in neuroscience area is strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment is preferred.
• Health education experience is a strong asset.
• Academic background in healthcare is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Attain designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and assure product availability in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs using multiple data sets across indications.
• Navigate through hospitals and healthcare communities to manage the territory.
• Develop and execute effective business plans with territory prioritization and reporting.
• Complete administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, and expense reports.
