Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team. You will develop and manage the assigned territory, communicating Ipsen’s neuroscience products to healthcare providers and pharmacists to support safe and effective use.

The ideal candidate has a B.S./B.A. and 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with neuroscience and migraine experience preferred. Travel within the territory is required, and strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• Experience in neuroscience area is strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Attain the designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and assure product availability in the territory
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs using multiple data sets across indications
• Navigate complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities
• Manage the territory efficiently, develop and execute effective business plans
• Complete administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports
• Comply with state and federal laws, PhRMA Code, and Ipsen policies
