Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team. You will convey product information to healthcare providers and pharmacists to support safe, effective use. Territory management, sample accountability, and compliance with drug laws are essential.

The role requires a B.S./B.A. and 3+ years in pharma sales, with neuroscience and migraine experience preferred. Travel is expected to cover hospitals and networks across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• Experience in neuroscience area preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment preferred.
• Health education experience is a strong asset.
• Academic healthcare background is a strong asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Attain the designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and ensure product availability in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs using multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory with effective business plans and daily call reporting and sample accountability.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports within timelines.
• Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including PhRMA Code and Ipsen policies.
