Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team, managing an assigned territory and building relationships with healthcare providers and pharmacists. The role focuses on communicating Ipsen’s products for neuroscience indications, ensuring product availability, and developing strategic business plans.

Ideal candidates have a B.S./B.A. and 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with neuroscience and migraine treatment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• Experience in neuroscience area strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Attain designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, with prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability; develop and execute business plans.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements within timelines and company guidelines.
• Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including the PhRMA Code and Ipsen policies.
• Travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency is required.
