Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team. The role involves developing and managing a territory, conveying product information to healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliant, effective promotion of Ipsen products.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, a BS/BA, and strong communication skills. Travel is required to cover assigned accounts and regions; knowledge in neuroscience and migraine therapies is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience in neuroscience is strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed; computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Attain designated calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and ensure product availability.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs using multiple data sets.
• Navigate complex hospital and healthcare organization structures to manage the territory.
• Develop and execute effective business plans and daily call reporting.
• Ensure compliance with drug laws, regulations and Ipsen policies; complete administrative tasks on time.
