Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join our sales organization in the Sioux Falls territory. You will execute and promote products aligned with the sales strategy and collaborate with the District Sales Manager on daily direction.

Requirements include a BS/BA with GPA >3.0 and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience; associates may be considered. Travel is required to engage psychiatrists and centers, develop territory plans, and ensure compliant

Qualifications

• BS/BA with GPA above 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Associate role may be considered for lesser experience.
• Atypical antipsychotic or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Psychiatry/CNS or pain management experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists or CMHCs preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Willingness to travel, including overnights.
• Must reside within the territory geography.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products per sales strategy.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on daily direction.
• Analyze local market to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain current product, disease, and reimbursement knowledge.
• Determine and monitor territory resource allocation and budgets.
• Communicate effectively with target audiences using advanced selling skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget; complete call reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and Vanda policies.
