Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team. You will communicate Ipsen’s neuroscience products to healthcare providers and pharmacists, manage a territory, and ensure compliant and effective product promotion, including sample accountability.

Requirements include a B.A./B.S., 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, neuroscience exposure preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• Experience in neuroscience area preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to promote pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment preferred.
• Academic background in healthcare is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Attain designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and ensure product availability in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs using multiple data sets across approved indications.
• Navigate through hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory efficiently with key HCP/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports as per guidelines.
• Comply with all laws and Ipsen policies in communications and samples.
