Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team. You will develop and manage a designated territory, promoting Ipsen’s products to healthcare providers and pharmacists while ensuring compliant communications and sample accountability.

The role requires a B.S./B.A. with 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales and preference for neuroscience experience. Travel is required, and you’ll work within a fast-paced, compliant environment to meet sales objectives.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• Experience in neuroscience area strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment preferred.
• Health education experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Attain the designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, ascribing principles of key HCP/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability. Develop and execute effective business plans.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports etc. within timelines and company guidelines.
• Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals.
