Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a District Manager, Neuroscience, based in the South Central Territory, to lead compliant promotion of neuroscience portfolio products in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will manage a district team, partner with cross-functional groups, and drive demand generation in local hospitals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 8+ years in pharma sales or related roles, and ability to travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
8+ years of relevant work experience in sales or cross-functional roles within healthcare.
Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight/ weekend travel.
Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
Experience in Neuroscience and/or schizophrenia disease states is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead development and compliant promotion of Neuroscience portfolio across outpatient and inpatient settings to health care professionals.
Develop and implement a coordinated district business plan with targets to achieve sales and business results.
Manage, develop, motivate, and compensate district personnel.
Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales, Institutional Business Group, Medical Affairs and Marketing to meet business goals.
Lead demand generation and care transitions within local community hospitals.
Provide guidance to Sales Specialists and maintain expert knowledge of clinical guidelines.
Analyze business performance and coach on sales messaging and territory strategies.
