Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals seeks an Neuroscience Account Manager to drive sales in Psychiatry within the Edison, NJ region. You will execute territory plans, collaborate with the District Sales Manager, and maximize product use through strategic promotion and customer engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with established relationships in psychiatry preferred. Strong time management and budget discipline are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (GPA >3.0).
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists or community mental health centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on sales directions and product promotion activities.
• Analyze local market to maximize appropriate product use within the territory.
• Maintain current product, disease, competitive and reimbursement knowledge.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to target audiences.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels; secure product access and reimbursement as needed.
• Manage travel and promo budget; complete all call reporting.
