Vanda Pharmaceuticals in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager for Psychiatry to drive product adoption and deliver value to customers in a defined territory. You will execute the sales strategy, build relationships with psychiatrists and CMHCs, and promote differentiated products and services.

The role requires at least a BS/BA with GPA >3.0 and a minimum of three years in pharmaceutical sales; strong communication, strategic selling, and a hunter mentality are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
• Associates may be considered for the role
• Atypical antipsychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience preferred
• Preferred psychiatry/CNS or pain management exposure
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists/CMHCs in the territory preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day strategy and product promotion activities.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in territory.
• Maintain current product, disease, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Determine and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified audiences.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels and secure product access as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budgets and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
