Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to drive product promotion in a defined territory, working closely with the District Sales Manager on strategy and execution.

You will analyze market dynamics, maintain strong clinical knowledge, and manage resources while traveling as needed. A BS/BA with a strong track record in pharma sales and relationships with psychiatrists are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Candidates not meeting experience requirements may be considered for the Associate role.
• Atypical antipsychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Preferred specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS or pain management.
• Reimbursement experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists and/or CMHCs in the territory preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Self-starter, goal and results driven—hunter mentality.
• Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
• Ability to travel (overnights may be required).
• Out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings may be required.
• Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours.
• Must reside within territory geography.

Aufgaben

• Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales direction and strategy.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, disease areas, competition, and market reimbursement.
• Manage budgets, time, and resources within the territory.
• Communicate persuasively to identified audiences using advanced selling skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget and expenses reporting.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and Vanda policies.
