Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals, a NASDAQ: VNDA specialty pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager in Mississippi to drive product adoption and access within the assigned territory.

You will collaborate with the District Sales Manager, analyze market dynamics, maintain up-to-date disease and reimbursement knowledge, and manage resources and travel to meet sales goals while remaining compliant with laws and Vanda policies.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Experience with reimbursement and/or psychiatry/ CNS products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales strategy and promotion activities.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance and results to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape and reimbursement.
• Determine, implement, and monitor resource allocation within territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified audiences.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels; secure product access and reimbursement as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget; maintain reporting and compliance.
