Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join our high-performance sales team in Evansville, IN.

The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and focuses on exceeding goals by delivering value through differentiated products and services. Key responsibilities include executing sales strategies in the assigned territory, staying current on disease states and reimbursement, and maintaining strong relationships with psychiatrists and community health

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Candidates not meeting experience may be considered for Associate role.
• Atypical antipsychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Preferred specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS or pain management will be considered.
• Reimbursement experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists and Community Mental Health Centers in territory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape and market reimbursement.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation within territory.
