Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals seeks a Neuroscience Account Manager in Columbus, OH. You will promote products, manage the territory, and work closely with the District Sales Manager to drive strategy and access.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of pharma sales, a valid driver’s license, and strong relationships with psychiatrists/CMHCs. Travel may be required; a hunter mentality and self-starter attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA > 3.0 required.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Experience with reimbursement and payer interactions is a plus.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists/CMHCs preferred.
• Must reside within assigned territory and be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day strategy and promotions.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitors, and reimbursement.
• Manage budgets, travel, and call reporting; ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Travel may include overnights; respond to HQ and sales meetings as needed.
