Job summary

AstraZeneca plc in California seeks a Regional Account Manager, Neurology to manage relationships with physicians and other customers in the San Bernardino area. You will educate on disease states, navigate hospital settings, and deliver product knowledge across stakeholders to support patient care.

The role requires 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, neurology exposure, and the ability to travel. A Bachelor’s degree is required with preferred advanced degrees; base pay is substantial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Neurology experience preferred.
• Ability to travel within territory.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales objectives in the assigned territory.
• Develop strategic account plans aligned with the brand plan.
• Collaborate with Institutional Account Manager(s), TLLs, SALs, MSLs, FRMs and other partners.
• Triages customer questions to appropriate partners per indications.
• Maintain in-depth disease and therapeutic knowledge.
• Educate on diagnostic approaches to improve patient diagnosis.
• Navigate hospital settings to access key stakeholders.
• Utilize marketing tools to support the sales process.
• Lead patient-centric partnership implementations with physicians and clinics.
• Execute local disease education and promotional programs.
• Provide high level product expertise and customer service.
• Track activities and submit reports on time.
• Demonstrate time management and self-starting behavior.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication.
