Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Regional Account Manager, Neurology, in San Bernardino, CA. You will manage long-term relationships with physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders, representing Alexion brands and providing disease and product education to support patient care.

Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, developing strategic account plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and navigating complex hospital settings to access key providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience (biotech or medical device).
• Neurology experience strongly preferred, especially building relationships with physicians.
• Ability to travel within territory regularly, including overnight/weekend travel.
• Demonstrated success educating physicians about complex diseases and treatment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales objectives in assigned territory.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with brand plans.
• Collaborate with Institutional Account Managers, MSLs, and other partners.
• Educate external customers on disease states, indications, and diagnostics.
• Navigate hospital and clinical networks to access physicians and stakeholders.
• Utilize marketing tools to support the selling process across accounts.
• Manage territory budget and adhere to ethics and compliance.
