Mass General Brigham Medical Group Western Massachusetts, Inc. seeks a Clinic/Practice Assistant to support our Neurology team onsite in Northampton, MA. The role involves administrative and clinical-support duties, including scheduling, check-in/check-out, and assisting providers to ensure a smooth patient care experience.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no direct patient care required.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Office experience, 2-3 years preferred.
• Proficiency with Office Suite applications and standard office procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication; time management and multitasking are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine administrative and clerical duties relating to a clinical service or physician practice office.
• Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
• Greet and assist patients.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Process patient billing forms and scan documents to patient records.
• Handle messages related to authorizations, prescriptions, and tests.
• Act as Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems.
• Provide assistance and training to others in these areas.
