Mass General Brigham in Northampton, MA is seeking a Clinic/Practice Assistant to support our Neurology team onsite at 22 Atwood Drive. This full-time role focuses on scheduling, patient check-in/out, and administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

You will greet patients, manage phone inquiries, assist with billing forms, and support providers without direct patient care. Excellent communication and time-management are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Office experience, 2–3 years required.
• Licenses and Credentials: CMAA – Data Conversion – Various Issuers preferred.
• Proficiency with all Office Suite applications and familiarity with office procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speak clearly to convey information.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
• Greet and assist patients; handle check-in/out processes.
• Answer phones, respond to routine inquiries, and route calls as needed.
• File materials in patient folders and print appointment schedules.
• Process patient billing forms and scan documents to medical records.
• Open and distribute unit mail or faxes; assist with prior authorizations.
